Sports competition and joyful festival of Autism boys and girls was held in Kurigram Stadium at 11.00 am on Wednesday (November 09).Management by Sports Directorate under yearly sports program in the fiscal 2022-2023 Kurigram District sports office arranged the sports and joyful events.
In the inaugural and prize giving ceremony Kurigram Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Resaul Karim, Mayor of Kurigram Municipality Kaziul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Minhajul Islam, District Fishery Officer Kalipada Roy and District Sports Officer Akram Hossain were present among others.
A total of 120 students of Muktaram Pally Biddut Disable and Autistic School and Palasbari Disable and Autistic School participated in the sports and joyful events.
Of the events, run for boys and girls of 100 meter aged 12-16, run for boys and girls of 50 meter aged 08-11,blasting balloons, biscuit run, cock fight, wear and dressing as you like and songs presentation.
At the end of sports and joyful events Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Resaul Karim gave prizes among all the 120 participants.Deputy Commissioner said all the Physical disabled and Autism students will be included in various sports and joyful events in the special Days.
