Eight students of Eastern University have got the opportunity to do fully-funded internships at two organizations in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.

To mark this significant achievement, university orchestrated a final grooming and celebratory event on Monday (21 May). The event boasted distinguished guests, including Mohammad Ali Azzam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, JICA Expert Shoji Akihiro, Managing Director of Samaira Group Md. Rafiqul Islam, Dean Prof. Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Asst. Professor Md. Iftekhar Mahmud spoked at the program.

Addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest, Ali Azzam remarked, we take immense pride in the accomplishment of our students securing these prestigious fully-funded internships in Japan. Their success stands as a testament to their diligence, perseverance, and the exceptional quality of education imparted at Eastern University. Encouraging the students, he added, you are pioneers from Bangladesh embarking on fully-funded internships in Japan. We trust that your dedication and hard work will enhance both the university's and the nation's reputation. He extended gratitude to the parents and guardians for their unwavering trust in the university.

Beyond felicitating the students, the speakers imparted invaluable advice on navigating various aspects of life in Japan, encompassing cultural nuances, cuisine, weather, and the environment. They also instilled a sense of patriotism and emphasized the importance of upholding integrity in their endeavors.
