The chief guest was Maryam Ispahani, Founder and CEO, of Sonali Bioplastics. The special guest was Md Fahim Hossain, founder and CEO of Green Lead at the event. Khulna University Photography Society President Md Hesham Ahmed, moderated the programme.

A large number of pictures were gathered from photographers around Khulna Division. But only 30 of the best photos were shown there.

The top five photographers get awards and certificates after considering the votes of the judging panel and the audience. Those photographers are Tanjid Rahman Udoy, Md. Shakhawat Hossain, Aorni Chakma, Tanvir Islam, and Asif Ahmed.

"The photo exhibition tried to portray the harmful effects of plastic and how it pollutes the environment. It is essential for the young generation to adopt sustainable measures and use plastic alternatives to protect the environment. We at KUPS are proud to be a part of this wonderful initiative," said Md Hesham Ahmed, president, of Khulna University Photography Society.
