Primary school is not opening tomorrow. On Saturday (3 August), this decision has been taken considering the ongoing situation, Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, confirmed the development.
The government has decided earlier on Saturday (3 August) to open government primary schools from tomorrow Sunday (4 August). However, schools were supposed to open in other areas across the country except the 12 city corporations and municipal areas of Narsingdi district.
The government had announced the indefinite closure of schools and colleges across the country from 17 July. The government had announced the closure of schools and colleges in view of the clashes between the law enforcement forces and the activists over the quota reform movement. After this, all the public and private universities of the country were closed.
