Despite a rise in coronavirus and dengue infections, there is no reason to worry about the ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, said Education Adviser Professor Dr Chowdhury Rafiqul (C.R.) Abrar.
“I visited several exam centres and saw that all examinees were wearing masks and maintaining safe distance while taking the exam,” he said. “We also carried out cleanliness and awareness activities in advance to tackle dengue. Overall, our preparations regarding both dengue and COVID-19 are adequate. So, I don’t see any reason for fear or concern.”
He made the remarks while speaking to the media after visiting the HSC exam centre at Vashantek Government College in the capital on Thursday (June 26).
