Sharmin Zoha Shoshee, a versatile actress who began her media journey as a Lux Superstar, gained prominence with her portrayal of Tuni in the movie 'Hajar Bochor Dhore,’ directed by the legendary Bangladeshi film actress Suchanda.

Interestingly, even after the release of ‘Hajar Bochor Dhore,’ many continued to refer to Shoshee as Tuni. Despite working in a few more movies afterward, some of which were left unfinished due to various reasons, Shoshee harbours no regrets. As an actress, she has since dedicated herself to one drama after another.

Today marks Shoshee's birthday, and on this special occasion, she has revealed two new drama serials in which she will play central characters. Among these dramas, 'Kusum Kotha' will be aired on BTV, while 'Uralpankhi' will be aired on Maasranga TV.

'Kusum Kotha' is written and directed by the accomplished playwright and producer Matia Banu Shaku, while 'Uralpankhi' is penned and directed by Idris Haider.

When asked about her two new drama serials, Shoshee expressed, “In both drama serials, I play the central role in the story. Matia Banu Shaku Apa is one of my favourite playwrights and directors. It is always a pleasure to work with her as she puts in a lot of hard work. Similarly, Idris Haider Bhai's work is also meticulous and well-organised. Working with both of them has been an enthusiastic experience. I am highly optimistic about these two new projects.”

“On my birthday, I want to convey one thing - when my birthday arrives, I remember my father more. I love and miss him constantly. I request everyone to pray for my father, and may Allah grant him Jannat,” the actress added as she spoke about her birthday.
