Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan paid a courtesy visit to the residence of Harun Or Rashid, Chief of the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). Accompanying Shakib was Arshad Adnan, the son of the President and a producer. Following the courtesy meeting, Shakib, Arshad, and Harun broke their fast together.
Harun Or Rashid shared several pictures of the Iftar on Facebook, writing, “Alhamdulillah, after completing the day's work, I broke my fast on the 19th day of Ramadan as usual. Suddenly, film actor Shakib Khan and the honourable President's son Mohammad Arshad Adnan came to my home.”
It's worth mentioning that the movie ‘Rajkumar’, starring Shakib Khan and produced by Arshad Adnan, is set to be released on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Directed by Himel Ashraf, the first look poster of the movie was released on March 23, followed by the release of the first song online on March 28. Like ‘Priyotoma’, Balam and Konal have lent their voices for the songs in this movie as well.
Director Himel Ashraf has taken up the challenge of breaking the record of last year's ‘Priyotoma’ by the same trio. He had earlier said that ‘Rajkumar’ could create a new history in Bangladeshi cinema.
‘Rajkumar’ is a story cantered around love, family relationships, and a young dreamer's journey from Bangladesh to America. Shakib's co-star in the movie is American actress Courtney Coffey. Among others, Tariq Anam Khan, Erfan Mridha Shiblu, and Dr. Ejajul are also in the cast.
