A one-day photography exhibition titled 'Peaceful Bangladesh' was held at the Jamaica Queens Center in the New York on the occasion of the International Day of Peace on September 21. The photo exhibition was organized by United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA), Elham Academy, New York, and Save the People with the support of Peace Center of USA.
Republican congressional leader Paul King opened the exhibition at the Ilham Academy premises of the Jamaica Queens Center in the New York on the afternoon of September 21. Outreach Coordinator of UNA-USA Queen's Chapter, Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah, freedom fighter Dr. Masudul Hasan and Sohrab Sarkar, New York-based international award-winning Bangladeshi photographer Tanveer Hasan Rohan and others was also present at the opening ceremony.
Twenty photographs taken by Bangladeshi international award-winning Bangladeshi photographer and travel writer Muhammad Mostafigur Rahman were included in the exhibition. At the end of the opening ceremony of the exhibition, UN-USA Queen's Chapter Outreach Coordinator
Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah thanked photographer Rahman for showcasing beautiful Bangladesh on foreign soil through his extraordinary beautiful photography. Chief guest Paul King expressed his surprise by seeing various pictures about the eye-popping nature of Bangladesh and the lifestyle of peaceful people.
Photographer Rahman thanked the organizers for organizing the solo photo exhibition on the occasion of International Day of Peace. He said that the organization of this kind of exhibition will play a role in informing people from abroad more about Positive Bangladesh.
