Decision to postpone Coke studio concert overturned, starts at 8 pm

The star-studded Coke Studio Bangla Live Concert is going to start at 8 pm at the Bangladesh Army Stadium, ignoring the unfavorable weather at the end of various dramas.

Coke Studio Bangla authorities announced this information on their official Facebook page on Thursday (June 9) at 6:35 pm.

Earlier in the afternoon, the concert was postponed, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) said.

At that time, Gousul Alam Shaon, managing director of Gray Dhaka, the organizer-affiliated organization, said, “It will take us about four hours to fix the venue, starting from draining the accumulated water in the field. The gate of the concert was scheduled to open at 1:30 pm but later decided to open the gate at 5 pm and the concert at 7 pm. But in the end, it was postponed.”

This year, the concert was said to be the biggest and most star-studded concert in the country. Besides enjoying the concert on the occasion of the World Cup Trophy Tour, the audience will be able to take pictures with the FIFA Original Trophy.

Coke Studio Bangla’s Arnob, Ripon, Animesh Roy, Pantho Kanai, Mizan, Momtaz, Rituraj and Nandita along with Nagarbaul James, Warfaze, Nemesis, Lalon were scheduled to sing in this concert.
