Bangladesh wrap up India under  200 as Shakib picks up five

Shakib Al Hasan's incredible performance on the tricky Mirpur surface resulted in his fourth five-wicket haul in ODIs, leading Bangladesh to a better position in the match as India mustered a mere 186 runs with all ten wickets lost - India's second-lowest total against Bangladesh while batting first.

Shakib began with a bang, claiming the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in his opening over. From then on, he never looked back and finished with an exceptional five-wicket haul against India, with another double-strike in his seventh over.

After his initial success with the ball, Shakib kept striking and claimed the scalps of Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur and Dipak Chahar in just 6.4 overs. It was Shakib's fourth five-wicket haul in ODIs. He has two similar achievements against Zimbabwe and one against Afghanistan.

The Indian batters had a tough time facing the spin prowess of Shakib in Mirpur, as the rugged surface provided plenty of assistance to the bowlers. Shakib ended up taking five for 36.

Bangladesh's pace attack discovered varying bounce while the spinners were gifted ample varieties as well - truly making this a challenging encounter between Indian batters and Bangladeshi bowlers.

Whilst the other batters were battling against tough bowling challenge, Lokesh Rahul stood out with an impressive half-century in the match.

Along with Shakib, right-arm pacer Ebadto Hossain, who was playing only his second ODI, also tested the Indian batters. He picked up four wickets, conceding 47 runs- his career-best bowling.
