The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for this long-anticipated series with Bangladesh. As part of the ICC World Test Championship, full members of the ICC are currently playing Test series. Bangladesh is currently engaged in a two-match Test series in Pakistan.
The first Test will take place from September 19 to September 24, and the second Test will be held from September 27 to October 1. The first Test will be hosted in Chennai, while the second and final Test will be played in Kanpur.
Following this Bangladesh led by Nazmul Hossain Shanto will tour India. The series, set to begin on September 19, will feature two Tests and three T20Is between Bangladesh and India.
After the Test matches, the two teams will face off in a three-match T20I series. The T20Is will be held as follows: First T20I: October 6, in Gwalior Second T20I: October 9, in Delhi, Third T20I: October 12, in Hyderabad.
In the same announcement, BCCI also revealed the schedule for the India-England series.This series, which will also take place in India, is set to begin on January 22, 2025.
The series will feature five T20Is and three ODIs. The T20I matches are scheduled for January 22, 25, and 28, and February 2 and 6. The ODI matches will follow on February 6, 9, and 12.
