Police have recovered the body of Arpita Shahriyar Kabir Mumu, daughter of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee President Shahriar Kabir, from a house in the capital's Banani area.
Getting information, police went to the house in the area on Thursday (8 June) night and found the hanging body of Safa Kabir. Later, they handed it over to the family.
Banani Police Station OC Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter on Friday (9 June).
Safa Kabir might have committed suicide, police suspect. But the reason behind the suicide could not be known immediately.
