After being elected as a Member of Parliament of Dhaka-10 Constituency, Ferdous Ahmed, the popular hero of the country, has been spending more than three months working as a public representative. However, Ferdous has arrived in New York to attend the 'Suchitra Sen International Film Festival' as a guest.
The two-day festival begins on Saturday (20 April) at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center in New York. Two films starring Ferdous '1971 Sesob Din' and 'Mike' will be screened in this festival on two consecutive days. A total of 39 films from India and Bangladesh will be screened in this festival. On the afternoon of April 21, there will be an award ceremony and cultural program for the films screened in the festival. Meanwhile, Ferdous starrer movie 'Ahare Jiban' directed by Chhatuk Ahmed has been released this Eid.
His performance in it has also been appreciated. Regarding participation in the film festival and 'Ahare Jiban', Ferdous said, Thanks to the organizers of the Suchitra Sen International Film Festival for inviting me to such an event. Two of my films will be screened in this festival. I am hopeful about getting an award here. Chhatku directed Ahare Jibon released on Eid. Even at this age he is creating great movies. I believe that this movie will gradually get embedded in people's minds. My co-star Purnima also acted very well in it.
Ferdous said that after returning to Dhaka, he will finish the rest of the movie 'Juddha Jibon'. He is also the brand ambassador of some organizations, he will work for those organizations. Contract with Consumer Rights is over, he will start working again by renewing the contract. Ferdous said that the people of his constituency have returned to their normal lives after the busyness of Eid. He will also come back and work for them. He will also participate in the parliament session which will start from May 2.
