No alternative to Sheikh Hasina’s leadership: Faridul Haque

Religious Affairs Minister Md Faridul Haque Khan on Monday (29 April) said there is no alternative to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's leadership for the development of the country and its people.

"Sheikh Hasina is the helmsman of development in Bangladesh," he said while speaking at a discussion as the chief guest at Maulana Akram Khan Hall at Jatiya Press Club, organised by Bangabandhu Academy.

Faridul Haque Khan said Sheikh Hasina has been abled to establish peace and harmony in the country.

The minister also said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's worthy daughter Sheikh Hasina is an honest, skilled, meritorious, and patriotism leader.

The country is moving forward under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina so the world leaders are praising of Sheikh Hasina, he said. 

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has developed various sector including health, agriculture, education, food, residential accommodation, Padma Bridge, flyover, elevated expressway, metro rail, community clinic and electricity but anti-liberation forces do not want development of the country," the minister added.

The anti-liberation forces had tried again and again to kill AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina but she doesn't bow down any evil forces as she loves to country and its people, the minister added.

With Bangabandhu Academy vice-president Emran Hossain in the chair, it was addressed, among others, by Awami League leader MA Karim and its religious affairs sub-committee member Jarin Sultana Kanta and Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote joint secretary Mohammad Rakon Uddin.

Bangabandhu Academy general secretary Humayun Kabir Mizi moderated it.
