Chief Justice Syed Refat Ahmed has constituted eight benches of the Supreme Court's High Court Division to conduct judicial proceedings on a limited scale starting tomorrow.
On Sunday evening (August 11), a notice was published on the Supreme Court's website detailing the Chief Justice's directive.
The Chief Justice stated in the directive, "I hereby direct that from Monday, August 12, at 10:30 AM, the following benches are constituted to conduct the judicial proceedings of the High Court Division on a limited scale."
Among these benches, there are 5 dual benches and 3 single benches. The benches are as follows: Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Md. Bazlur Rahman (Writ), Justice Md. Mujibur Rahman Mia and Justice Md. Bashir Ullah (Civil), Justice Khizir Ahmed Chowdhury (Company Bench), Justice Md. Iqbal Kabir and Justice Md. Riaz Uddin Khan (Writ), Justice Md. Kamrul Hossain Molla (Civil and Criminal), Justice SM Kuddus Zaman and Justice AKM Rabiul Hasan (Criminal), Justice Md. Atowar Rahman and Justice Md. Ali Reza (Criminal), and Justice Biswajit Debnath (Civil).
