Dhaka and Washington on Monday (22 April) engaged in a comprehensive discussion on various aspects of Bangladesh-US Trade Relations.

The discussion was held as Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen met with US Assistant US Trade Representative for South and Central Asia Brendan Lynch this afternoon at the State Guest House Padma in the capital, according to a press release.

They called for strengthening economic ties between the two countries and exploring avenues for enhanced collaboration in trade and investment.

Both sides expressed their commitment towards fostering a conducive environment for bilateral trade, addressing the trade barriers, and promoting mutual economic growth.

Lynch is visiting Bangladesh with a four-member delegation for the inter-sessional TICFA meeting.
