Chinese New Year celebrated on Saturday (February 10) in Sunamganj. Development organizations HOUSE, CLEAN and BWGED organized a colorful procession in Chinaura village of Sadar Upazila on the occasion of Chinese New Year.
A large number of youngsters participate in it in the spirit of the festival. The participants in the procession held up placards and wished Chinese citizens a Happy New Year.
At the same time, the procession appealed to China to invest in renewable energy in Bangladesh and not to invest in coal and LNG based power plants.
Salehin Chowdhury Shubo, Trisna Akhter, Ashish Rahman, Shaheen Ahmad and others were present in the programme.
