Since the beginning of Ramadan, the city dwellers are spending their days in peace. Vehicles are moving according to the traffic signal on the road, there are no hawkers on the pavement. Common people do not have any additional trouble to reach the destination. As the roads are free from traffic jams, the level of suffering of the fasting people has also reduced a lot.

For this the public representative-administration has become an object of praise in the entire district. Since the beginning of February, the NCC mayor, two MPs (Osman Brothers) and the administration have been working together to solve the city's problems. For which the movement on the road has become easy. But behind the realization of today's scene is the long-term efforts of a social worker.

AKM Salim Osman MP of Narayanganj sadar whose many years of efforts (started since 2013) have alleviated the sufferings of the city dwellers, is a prominent businessman.

On February 3, a round table meeting was held at the top floor of press club building to resolve hawkers and traffic congestion. People from various professions including public representatives, administration officials participated in it. Even more surprising than the meeting was to the city'speople, was Shamim-Ivy's unity.

Shamim Osaman MP and NCC Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy are known arch rival as North Zone and South Zone in the political arena of Narayanganj. It is unimaginable to everyone that they will do any work unitedly due to the difference of opinion. But MP Salim Osman was able to unite these two arch rival person for the city people.

After many years of effort, he has managed to unite two well-known politicians-people representatives of Narayanganj through phone conversation-meeting.

And so in that press club round table meeting, MP Salim, MP Shamim, Mayor Ivy said, "The road must be cleared of hawkers and traffic jams".

Like talk like action. The city dwellers started to see changes in the road from the next day. Hawkers and illegal bus-CNG stands were evicted from important points of the city including Bangabandhu Road, Mir Jumla Road, Shaista Khan Road. At the same time, the hawkers started agitation and protest.

They repeatedly approached the public administration for rehabilitation or a short stay on the streets. Among them, they sat with MP Salim Osman several times. Salim Osman tried to compromise each time. Along with that, he tried to arrange the income of the hawkers.

Finally, the hawkers got the opportunity to sit from the front of Chashara Madhavi Plaza to the Metro Hall under the conditions given by him.

Meanwhile, Salim Osaman handed over Tk 45 lakh to the police to control the traffic jam during Ramadan. Basically, MP Salim Osman is behind creating a congestion-free environment of the city and bringing together the administration and public representatives to solve the city's problems.

He has given a pleasant atmosphere to the fasting people during Ramadan. And this matter is quite clear to the city dwellers. So they are worried, how long the city will remain so orderly. Because Salim Osman, who has solved the city problem, is now very ill. Currently staying in Bangkok for better treatment. Prayers are being offered in mosques for his good health. Door-to-door fasting people are praying for his long life. Social worker Salim Osman is in everyone's prayers in this holy month.
