During the holy month of Ramadan, arrangements for iftar are often visible for marginalised people. However, what are these people eating for sehri? Are they able to afford meals? Have you thought about these things? Although these questions may not come to the mind to many, the initiative has been taken by Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal's son, and Awami League leader Shafi Moddasser Khan Jyoti of Tejgaon Thana. Every night, packets of food and bottles of water are being delivered to the doorstep of helpless people by Jyoti. This humane work continues throughout the entire month of Ramadan.

It is known that from the first day of Ramadan, enthusiastic young people inspired by Shafi Moddasser Khan Jyoti have been distributing sehri among the marginalised, homeless, and impoverished people at places like Farmgate, Kawran Bazar, Panthapath, and Khamarbari Mor in Dhaka. Generally, during Ramadan, many people distribute iftar among the marginalised and impoverished people of the capital. However, these people often do not get proper food for sehri. Therefore, through Jyoti's invaluable initiative, the hunger of many marginalied and underprivileged people is being alleviated through free sehri distribution programs.

Abul Hayat Shubho is in charge of free sehri distribution program throughout Ramadan. In this regard, he said, Shafi Moddasser Khan Jyoti has taken this initiative by thinking about the suffering of the helpless people of the capital. This program, which has been going on since the beginning of Ramadan, will continue throughout the month.
