Administration ready to ensure maximum service and safety of tourists: DIG Apple Mahmood

Every year during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, millions of tourists gather in Cox's Bazar, the city with the longest beach in the world. Dishonest businessmen and transport drivers took advantage of this opportunity. Such complaints are long-standing. However, this time, the tourist police have called the tourism-related businessmen and the people of the transport sector and have not issued a warning.

On the other hand, like every year, 4 lakh tourists will gather this year as well, said Additional DIG of Tourist Police Cox's Bazar Region Apple Mahmud Saturday (6 April ) Tourist Police Cox's Bazar Region Office Additional DIG Md. Apple Mahmud confirmed this information to The Daily Messenger.

He said that we have been able to ensure the safety of tourists even before this. Three levels of security have been taken to ensure the safety of all the tourists who will come during the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr.

Additional DIG Apple Mahmud said that tourists cannot be harassed in any way. In this light stakeholders have been instructed not to charge extra money other than specified fares and not to misbehave with tourists. He said that strict legal action would be taken if there was any complaint.
