Police detained two drug peddlers with 50 bottles of phensedyl from Ramkhana Union of Nageshwari Upazila early Monday (15 April).
The detainees were identified as Md Md Masud Rana, 23, and his associate Md Sajedul Islam Sagor, 25 of the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in West Ramkhana Mistritari village around 5 am and detained them along with 50 bottles of phensedyl, said SP Ruhul Amin, media spokesman of Kurigram district police.
A case was filed with Nageshwari Police in this regard, added the SP.
