From Monday (April 22) morning, they were seen distributing water to various spots including Chashara Shaheed Minar, the heart of the city. People traveling on the road are eagerly drinking this water to quench their thirst in hot weather.
Volunteers of Team Khorshed also distributed mineral water and Orsaline among the 30 traffic policemen working in the city. Councilor Maksuudul Alam Khandaker Khorshed, team leader of Team Khorshed, said that we have seen that pedestrians, day labourers, rickshaw pullers and common people of the city have become impatient in the heat of the last few days.
Doctors are advising them to drink more water this summer. Cost It becomes difficult to get water while travelling. And even if it is found, it cannot be confirmed whether it is pure. Water-borne diseases are also increasing in summer.
By doing this, we have brought clean water to the people. Here people can drink water and can also take it in bottles. He said that as long as there is heat, the water distribution program of "Team Khorshed" will continue.
