Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested six members of a robber gang from Jatrabari area of the capital on Monday ( 24 June).
The arrestees were identified as Nannu Sardar, 53, Raju Ahmed, 50, Hanif, 50, Humayun, 41, Tahirul, 38 and Rezaul Karim, 32.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-10 conducted a drive in the area on Sunday night and arrested them along with two knives, one axe and one machete, assistant director (media) of Rab-10, Assistant superintendent MJ Sohel revealed this information on Monday.
The arrestees have been involved in committing robbery in the capital’s Jatrabari area for long.
