Five women have taken up the role of Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) in Jhenaidah district, effectively carrying out their duties across five upazilas. These dedicated UNOs have actively participated in initiatives to prevent child marriages, improve education standards, raise awareness against dowry, eradicate drugs, empower women, promote people-friendly union councils, and implement digital land systems.

The UNOs work tirelessly day and night, gathering information about government programmes and engaging in various social activities. They have made a significant impact on the lives of the people in Jhenaidah district, and they are an inspiration to others.

The five women UNOs in Jhenaidah are Sadia Jerin in Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila, Razia Akhter Chowdhury in Shailkupa Upazila, Sushmita Saha in Harinakundu Upazila, Israt Jahan in Kaliganj Upazila, and Uchen May in Kotchadpur Upazila.
