Riseup Labs signed an MoU with the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) Department of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on Thursday (23 November). Professor Dr. Md. Azad Hossain, Head of the ETE Department, and Riseup Labs' Senior HR Generalist, Taslima Binta Hafiz, signed the MoU.
Riseup Labs is a next-generation global IT service and technology solution provider company. By this MoU it aims to collaborate with the ETE Department of CUET. The collaboration was officially unveiled during a seminar on 'Infixon 2023 ETE Day,' a pivotal event organized by CUET's ETE Department.
Professor Dr. Md. Jahedul Islam and Associate Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Islam of the ETE department, Riseup Labs Founder & CEO Ershadul Hoque, Head of Product Development Md. Rafiquzzaman, Sr. SQA Engineer Dipon Mukherjee and Sr. SQA Engineer Wasif Zaman were present during the MoU signing.
According to the agreement, Riseup Labs will collaborate with ETE students' Internship and Employment Opportunities, Industry-Relevant Curriculum, Access to Resources, Research and Development, Training Programs, etc.
The event was a testament to Riseup Labs and CUET's ETE Department's commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands. Faculty members from the ETE Department applauded the collaboration for its potential to enhance students' educational experience and provide them with the practical insights needed for success in the ever-evolving Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering field.
At the seminar, Riseup Labs took several sessions on career development and opportunities tailored to empower CUET ETE students. This includes Industry Scopes, SQA Activities and Importance, career paths, HR sessions like Networking, Skill Enhancement, Resume or CV, Preparing for an Interview, Tips, etc.
Ershadul Hoque, the Founder & CEO of Riseup Labs, shared his entrepreneurship journey in the tech industry with the students. Riseup Labs' Senior HR Generalist, Taslima Binta Hafiz, gave career tips for the ETE students at the seminar. She shared some advice on 'Do's and Don'ts of Job Interviews.'
She said, As much attention our students give to their studies, they should also give much importance to the interviews. They have confusions about their careers. You should eliminate the confusion and prepare well for your interviews so that the company picks you first.
