Students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) continued their demonstration for the second day on Saturday protesting a gathering of Chhatra League activists in the middle of the night on the campus where political activities are banned.
the protesting students persist in their demand for Imtiaz's permanent expulsion from the university by 2pm on Saturday (30 March).
The students issued an ultimatum to the university authorities calling for the expulsion of Imtiaz Rabbi, a student of the Civil Engineering department and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) central leader.
They also demanded the expulsion of five others involved in politics at the university campus by 2pm today (30 March).
