The IEEE AIUB student branch once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence and professional growth by organizing its flagship event, IEEE SPAVe 7.0, which is branded by IEEE USA and SPAA.

This event was held on Thursday at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

Since 2016, SPAVe has been a regular feature for the branch, offering students valuable insights and learning opportunities.

IEEE SPAVe 7.0 comprised seminar sessions and presentations by esteemed leaders across various professional fields.

The event was broadly supported by AIUB. The sponsor of the event was Bachar Engineering Ltd whereas GIGABYTE Bangladesh and Kishwan Group acted as the Technology and Food partners respectively.

The event was attended by over 170 participants from various universities across Bangladesh. IEEE SPAVe 7.0 aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the ever-evolving professional landscape and to furnish them with the knowledge necessary to navigate their careers.

The event was inaugurated by Prof Dr ABM Siddique Hossain, dean of the Faculty of Engineering, AIUB.

The event covered topics such as AI-driven technology, aligning STEM education with UN SDGs, empowerment of women as engineers, navigating professional fields as a STEM graduate, and cultivating entrepreneurship.

By connecting students with experienced professionals and experts from academia and industry, the event helped to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, preparing students for future challenges and opportunities.
