40 students of DIU receive Tk. 1.2 cr from Prime Islami Life Insurance

In a heartwarming gesture of support, Daffodil International University authorities, along with Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd. handed over Tk 1.2 crore to 40 students of the university with 3 Lac taka each against Guardians Insurance claim on  Tueswday (9 July) in a program held at Prof. Aminul Islam Auditorium. 

Rahim Ud–Doula Chowdhury, Chief Consultant (Board), Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd. was present as the chief guest while ProVice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder was present as 
the guest of honour. Dr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, of Daffodil International University presided over the program. Md. Shamsul Alam, Chief Executive Officer, Anisur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd. and Mominul Haque Mazumder, Director of Finance and Accounts) were present as special guests at the program.

Daffodil International University brought its all students, guardians, teachers and employees under the insurance risk coverage of natural death, accidental death, permanent disability of all types (PTD) and permanent partial disability (PPD since 2014 through Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd. As a result, 40 students of the university received death insurance claim cheque of taka three lac each from Prime Islami Life Insurance Company Ltd.
