Student politics banned in BRUR

The Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) administration has banned all forms of student politics. On Monday (28 October) The decision was taken at the 108th Syndicate meeting of the University’s Syndicate council.

University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Shawkat Ali at the press conference confirmed this information. The notification said it has been decided that all forms of student politics are permanently banned from the Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur.

BRUR Vice-Chancellor said that in order to supervise and control the moral discipline of the teachers-students and officers and employees of the university, extortion, tender manipulation, seat-trading and lewd politics of occupying halls will be stopped in the campus.
He also said According to 4(a) any teacher and officer-employee can not be associated with politics. We have to see why it happened before . If anyone involved in politics it will be taken legal action against them.
