The admission test for the Kha unit of Dhaka University for the 2022-23 academic year will be held on Saturday (6th May). The admission committee has already announced the seating plan for this unit. Seat allocation can be checked through SMS and online.

The seat allocation for the university's admission was published on the website Wednesday (3rd May). Candidates can download the admit card by clicking the "Admit Card" button on the admission website's dashboard. Admit cards can be downloaded until one hour before the start of the respective unit's exam.

According to the information from the Central Admission Office of the university, a total of 298,429 candidates have applied for admission to the Honors (Undergraduate) program for the 2022-2023 academic year. Based on that, approximately 50 students will compete for each of the 5,965 seats in the four units.

Now, the admission test will be conducted for a total of 5,965 seats in Dhaka. Among them, there are a total of 1,851 seats in the Science unit. Among them, 1,775 seats are reserved for students of the Kha unit, while 51 and 25 seats are reserved for students of the Humanities and Business Studies departments, respectively.

In the Business Studies unit, there are a total of 150 seats. Among them, 95, 25, and 930 seats are reserved for students of the Science, Humanities, and Business Studies departments, respectively. In the Fine Arts unit, there are a total of 130 seats.

The admission test for each unit will be four hours long. Except for the Fine Arts unit, all other units will have a multiple-choice question (MCQ) test of 60 marks and a written test of 40 marks. For the MCQ test of other units, 45 minutes will be given, and for the written test, 45 minutes will be given.

The students will be evaluated based on a total of 120 marks on the admission test. Out of this, 100 marks will be based on the admission test, and 20 marks will be based on the results of the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations.

In the upcoming academic year, like the previous year, the admission test for Dhaka University, along with its affiliated centers, will be conducted in eight divisional centers across the country.

The examinations of Dhaka Division will be held at Dhaka University (DU), Chattogram Division at Chattogram University (CU), Rajshahi Division at Rajshahi University (RU), Khulna Division at Khulna University (KU), Sylhet Division at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Rangpur Division at Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Barisal Division at Barisal University (BU), and Mymensingh Division at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).
