The body of a newborn boy was recovered from a dustbin on the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) campus in Dhaka on Saturday 27 May).
Dipak Bala, sub-inspector of Shahbag police station, said a youth spotted the body wrapped with clothes inside the dustbin beside a booth of Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd on the campus around 11 am.
The body was recovered and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue, the SI said.
