Featuring six popular stars of the current generation in three pairs, the ‘Closeup Romantic Drama Festival’ is set to be held for the first time in the country. Presented by the popular brand Closeup, the festival is organised under the banner of CMV, one of the country's leading production companies.

The six popular stars who are going to appear in pairs are Ziaul Faruq Apurba, Tanjin Tisha, Farhan Ahmed Jovan, Tatini, Tausif Mahbub, and Neha. Authorities from CMV and Closeup have confirmed the festival.

Organisers mentioned that the festival features three love stories with six popular stars. Apart from Valentine's Day, there has been no festival in the country featuring special dramas before.

Regarding organising the festival for the first time, CMV chief SK Saheed Ali Pappu informed that the festival will start from the last week of November on the company's YouTube channel. There are three special tele-dramas in the first phase of the festival. These include Zakaria Soukhin's 'Pathe Holo Deri,' Prabir Roy Chowdhury's 'Bhalobasi Tabuo,' and Mizanur Rahman Aryan's 'Hridoye Hridoy.'

Popular small-screen actors Apurba-Tatini, Tausif-Tisha, and Jovan-Neha are appearing in these three special dramas, respectively. Regarding this festival, producer Pappu said, “We have always wanted to present something of quality in music and drama. Our journey became more vibrant with Closeup. We believe that we can expand this festival on a larger scale in the future.”

Meanwhile, being a part of the first such festival, the drama makers and artistes are looking forward very positively. According to them, such initiatives bode well for the volatile drama industry. According to CMV sources, the schedule of the festival, along with the details of the featured dramas in the 'Closeup Romantic Drama Festival,' will be published on the organisation's Facebook page soon.
