Shobnom Bubly, who made her film debut in 2016 with ‘Bossgiri,’ is set to release two new movies during the upcoming Eid. The movies are 'Deyaler Desh,' directed by Mishuk Moni, and 'Maya: The Love,' helmed by Jasim Uddin Zakir.
Mishuk Moni's ‘Deyaler Desh’ is a film funded by government grants, where Bubly's co-star is Sariful Razz.
Regarding ‘Deyaler Desh,’ Bubly said, “I really enjoyed reading the story. We often say different stories, different characters, but sometimes the essence isn't conveyed clearly on screen. Throughout my career, I've primarily worked in commercial films. In this movie, however, I had to embody a character rather than simply play a heroine, and I strove to make it believable.”
On the other hand, Jasim Uddin Zakir's ‘Maya: The Love’ revolves around a love story. Interestingly, Bubly has three heroes in this film; they are Anisur Rahman Milon, Symon Sadik, and Ziaul Roshan.
The post-production work for ‘Maya: The Love’ is currently underway. Regarding the Eid release, director Jasim said, “During Eid, cinema halls attract more viewers. Therefore, I've decided to release ‘Maya: The Love’ during the Eid festivities.”
