The news is heartbreaking and shocking. Abu Tauhid Heron, a young filmmaker full of passion and promise, has tragically departed this world. Just last year, he earned praise for his film 'Adam', and he had dreams of creating many more films. But alas, his journey was cut short far too soon.

Heron passed away on Monday morning at the young age of 38. His death occurred at his home in New Eskaton in the capital city of Dhaka. Heron's close associate, Rakibul Islam Rakib, confirmed the devastating news from the security guard of that residence.

According to Rakib, around 4 am, Heron suddenly called the house security guard, saying he was having a stroke. When neighbours and others broke down the door to reach him, they found Heron unconscious.

Rakib mentioned that Heron did not have any close family members residing in Dhaka. However, his family in Khulna has been informed of this tragic loss. Plans are underway to take his body to Khalishpur there for burial soon.

Heron's debut film 'Adam', featuring actors like Yash Rohan, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Raisul Islam Asad, and Shahiduzzaman Selim, was released last year during Eid-ul-Fitr to much acclaim. His promising career has been tragically cut short, leaving the film community mourning the loss of a talented young filmmaker taken from this world far too early.
