Popular Dhallywood actress Shobnom Bubly has finally taken legal action by filing a General Diary (GD) at the police station, exasperated by the spread of offensive, fake, fabricated and baseless news about her by certain individuals and portals.
Rajan Kumar Saha, Assistant Commissioner (AC) of DMP's Gulshan Badda Zone, confirmed to the media about Bubly's GD filing On Wednesday.

He said the DMP's CCTC cyber unit is investigating the matter.

Earlier, on April 24, Bubly filed a General Diary at Bhatara Police Station in the capital. However, she kept the whole issue confidential from the beginning.

In the GD, Bubly mentioned that for quite some time, some individuals, online portals and TV channels have been disseminating various offensive, false and fabricated news using their Facebook pages and YouTube channels in her name. She felt it absolutely necessary to record the matter in a GD under such circumstances.

From police sources, it is learned that Bubly named 15-20 Facebook pages and YouTube channels including 'Protidiner Chitra', 'Jamshed Bhai', 'Mou Sultana', 'Sony Communication', 'SK Ujjal', 'Sonia Shimu', 'Ferdous Kabir', 'Abul Hosain Tufan', 'Shahinur Akhtar', 'Jahidul Islam Apon' in her complaint. The list also includes names of four media outlets.

Attempts were made to contact Bubly about the issue, but she could not be reached.

It is known that the actress is currently busy with the shooting of the film 'Jongli' with actor Siam Ahmed.
