The film 'Kajol Rekha,' directed by Giasuddin Selim and starring newcomer actress Mondera Chakraborty, was released during Eid. Through her performance in the film, Mondera Chakraborty has garnered significant attention as a new actress. However, Mondera was eagerly awaiting the film's release in her hometown of Khulna.
Finally, today 'Kajol Rekha' is being screened at the renowned cinema halls Liberty and Shankha in Khulna. For this reason, Mondera is extremely excited. Mondera's village home is located beside Khalishpur Police Station in Khulna.
Mondera said that she will soon visit Khulna to enjoy the film with the local audience.
Mondera shared her feelings, “The audience has already enjoyed the film 'Kajol Rekha' and expressed their love for it. I am overwhelmed by the audience's love. But I was truly eagerly waiting for when my debut film would be released in my hometown. Finally, that wait is over today.”
“My friends and relatives are already very eager for me to go to Khulna. Our 'Kajol Rekha' team also wants to visit Khulna. We haven't finalised the exact date yet, but I will go to Khulna within two or three days. I will enjoy the film sitting with the cine-lovers of my own area, attending one show at Liberty and another at Shankha. I hope I will get to meet everyone,” the heroine of ‘Kajol Rekha’ added.
Meanwhile, Mondera has already completed work on her second film 'Neel Chakra.' Opposite her in the film is actor Arifin Shuvro, who played the title role in 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation.'
Mondera informed that she did the dubbing work for ‘Neel Chakra’ yesterday. She is very hopeful about the film as well.
The actress added that discussions are also ongoing about working on more new films. There is a possibility of her working in two or three more films in 2024.
