The much-awaited film is all set to hit the country's theatres on August 18, and Hridi, along with the cast, including Ferdous Ahmed, Litu Anam and Sonia Hossain, is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the upcoming release.
Hridi spoke about the emotional significance behind the film's promotion, which officially began on May 29, her late father's birthday. She shared that the response to the movie's trailer, teaser, and songs has been overwhelming, and she is confident that the film will touch the hearts of the audience.
Hridi expressed her gratitude to the cast for their dedicated efforts, making her directorial debut a memorable one.
Tareen, known for her exceptional talent on the small screen, expressed her joy in working with Hridi on her first movie. She praised the director's maturity in writing and meticulous approach to filmmaking, which made the filming experience incredibly rewarding.
“Hridi's writing has always seemed very mature to me for her age. I have also seen the plays directed by her. So I am happy for Hridi's first movie; I am really excited about it. Hridi is too meticulous and much of a perfectionist—an essential trait for an artiste. Her approach as a director is to ensure the performance is 100% to her heart's content before revealing it. Hridi is one such director. She is so detail-oriented that we had to reshoot some scenes. Hridi has invested a lot of time in pre-production, and that's why we are all optimistic about the movie,” said Tareen.
'1971 Sei Sab Din' is a period film that portrays a challenging era, and Hridi has poured her heart and soul into crafting a compelling story for the audience. With Tareen's remarkable talent and dedication to her role, the film is set to be a cinematic experience worth cherishing.
As the release date draws near, the anticipation for '1971 Sei Sab Din' continues to grow, and moviegoers are eagerly awaiting the chance to witness Tareen Jahan's extraordinary performance on the big screen.
