The 22nd President of Bangladesh, Mohammed Shahabuddin, graced a special screening of the much-anticipated film ‘Priyotoma,’ starring the superstar Shakib Khan. The exclusive screening took place at SKS Tower’s Star Cineplex in the capital’s Mohakhali.
This astonishing screening was organized in response to a heartfelt request from the President's son, Arshad Adnan, who is also the producer of the film. Arshad Adnan's deep desire to share the cinematic experience of ‘Priyotoma’ with his beloved parents concluded on this momentous occasion.
Arshad Adnan expressed his joy, saying, “After numerous attempts, I finally succeeded in showing my beloved father and mother the movie that I myself produced. I am thrilled to have arranged this event on my mother's birthday, as my parents mean the world to me. Their appreciation for ‘Priyotoma’ is the greatest recognition and honor I could receive.”
He further extended his gratitude to the audience, acknowledging their unwavering support that has brought ‘Priyotoma’ to this remarkable point. Arshad Adnan also thanked his family and all those who wholeheartedly supported and participated in this special event.
The screening gathered a distinguished audience, with the First Lady, Dr. Rebecca Sultana, celebrated actor Shakib Khan, producer Arshad Adnan, director Himel Ashraf, acclaimed lyricist Prince Mahmud, and popular actresses Tarin and Nusrat Faria, among several other notable personalities, in attendance.
Shakib Khan, an essential part of the film's cast, shared a touching video on his social media, capturing the heartfelt moment when President Mohammed Shahabuddin warmly embraced him following the screening of ‘Priyotoma.’ The video vibrated deeply with fans, portraying the bridge between the world of cinema and the realm of leadership.
Additionally, Himel Ashraf, the film's producer, took to his Facebook profile to share a memorable photo, accompanied by a caption that read, “Bangladesh's honorable President and his family enjoyed the movie ‘Priyotoma’ at the cinema hall.”
