KM Khalid, the state minister for Cultural Affairs, participated as a guest judge in the thrilling 'Danger Round’ of the popular musical reality show ‘Channel i Shera Kontho.’ Joining him on the panel of judges were eminent singers Runa Laila, Samina Chowdhury, and Rezwana Choudhury Bannya.
Reflecting on his participation in this musical extravaganza and the task of evaluating the contestants at the Channel i studio on Sunday, State Minister KM Khalid said, “I emphasised the importance of a strong grasp of melody and rhythm for ambitious singers. I commended the talent showcased by the five contestants I had the privilege to hear and expressed my enthusiasm for the event.”
“I had originally planned to stay for a brief period but found myself captivated and eager to listen to more performances. However, I extended my gratitude to the Channel i management and show director, Ijaz Khan Swapan, for the opportunity. Additionally, I appreciated the experience of sitting alongside the world-class artiste Runa Laila and was delighted to have travelled through a wonderful musical journey with prominent singers Samina Chowdhury and Rezwana Choudhury Bannya.”
The official launch of the reality show took place in November of the previous year, marking the beginning of an exciting musical journey. The show is hosted by the talented anchor Shanta Jahan and airs every Thursday and Friday at 7:50 PM on Channel i.
The ongoing seventh season of this highly-anticipated reality show is under the capable guidance of Ijaz Khan Swapan, who serves as the project head and program director of ‘Oikko.com.bd Channel i Shera Kontho 2023.’
