‘Antarjal’ releases worldwide

Siam Ahmed and Bidya Sinha Mim starring highly anticipated cyber-thriller movie ‘Antarjal,’ directed by Dipankar Dipon, was finally released nationwide on Friday. After experiencing significant delays, it is gracing 34 theaters. Additionally, the film has also simultaneously released in the United States and Canada.

Recently, the ‘Antarjal’ team treated their eager audience to a sneak peek with a promotional song titled ‘Welcome to Antarjal’ during an open concert held at Rabindra Sarobar, Dhaka.

Apart from Siam Ahmed and Bidya Sinha Mim, the movie features ABM Sumon, Sunerah Binte Kamal, and Rawnok Hasan in pivotal roles.

Siam Ahmed steps into the shoes of Lumin, a freelance programmer, while Bidya Sinha Mim and ABM Sumon tackle the roles of cyber-security officers. Sunerah Binte Kamal portrays a robotics engineer in this film.

Siam Ahmed said, "Our journey with this movie has been quite a struggle. It's genuinely gratifying to see the result of our hard work reaching the audience. The fact that a Bangladeshi film is being showcased in a significant number of theaters in America is highly motivating for us. I extend my gratitude to all those involved."

Actress Sunerah Binte Kamal said, "This movie offers comprehensive content that holds relevance for today's audience by providing valuable information. The film seamlessly incorporates technology, making it especially beneficial for the current generation. Viewers will discover many fascinating insights. It's a movie suitable for all ages, where 100% technology-based themes are far from dull. It encompasses romance, emotions, and feelings, all set within the realm of the internet. The audience will undoubtedly appreciate it."

It's important to note that the story of 'Antarjal' was crafted by Asha Zahid and Saifullah Riyad, with the screenplay penned by Dipankar Dipon and dialogues by Saifullah Riyad. Inspired by the government's ICT division, the film is produced by Motion People Studios Limited and Spellbound Leo Burnett.

Originally scheduled for release during Eid ul Azha, the film encountered setbacks due to technical issues and delayed censor certification.
