After the success of his latest directorial venture, 'Kill Him,' which was released during the last Eid-ul-Fitr, MD Iqbal is gearing up for his latest project, 'Dead Body.'

Popular film actor Omar Sani takes on a distinctive role in this new film, promising audiences a fresh and unique portrayal.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Omar Sani said, "The shooting of 'Dead Body' took place over several days in Dhaka, which was a wonderful experience. Now, the shooting for the film will take place in Bandarban starting from October 22."

"The character I'll be portraying is entirely unconventional, exploring the depths of the soul and delving into esoteric themes. This character presents a unique challenge that I haven't encountered before. MD Iqbal is leaving no stone unturned in making the film. Also, the entire team is deeply committed to the project. It's been a while since I've been part of such a satisfying endeavour," the actor added.

The inauguration of the film was held on the evening of October 8 at FDC. The event witnessed the presence of prominent cast members, including Shyamal Mawla, Roshan, Omar Sani, Rashed Mamun Apu, Mishti Jahan, Anvesha Roy Anny from Kolkata, and many others. The event was celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony, marking the commencement of this promising cinematic journey.

In addition to 'Dead Body,' several films featuring Omar Sani are coming to theatres soon. He has acted in a film titled 'Sonar Char,' and the actor is set to assume the lead role in the upcoming film 'Jagran.' Popular actress Mousumi has been selected to play a guest role in 'Jagran,' a film centred around the enclave, to be directed by Zahid Hossain.
