Business Promotion Night of Australia Bangladesh Business Forum held

On Monday (30 October), Business Promotion Night was organized by the Australia Bangladesh Business Forum at Rydges Hotel in Campbelltown, Sydney. The organization organized this business promotion night to welcome the New South Wales Government's Small Business Month held in October.

At 7 pm, the program started with a video presentation on the activities of the organization under the chairmanship of Abdul Khan Ratan, the founder president of the organization, whilst being moderated by Brian Lal, the general secretary.

Abdul Khan Ratan in his welcome speech detailed the exchange of views, bilateral agreements and MoUs signed by Australia Bangladesh Business Forum with FBCCI, Chittagong Chamber and Commerce, Sirajganj Economic Zone, Jahangirnagar and Daffodil University during his recent visit to Bangladesh. He stated that there are enough investment opportunities in Bangladesh now. Anyone can invest in Bangladesh if they want. The president's tour companions in Bangladesh were the director of the organization Mohammad Rahman Tipu and the CEO of Grypas Group Nazmul Hasan.

Brian Lal, general secretary of the organization later stated, "If we work together, it will be possible to bring both the businessmen and entrepreneurs of Bangladesh and Australia onto a common platform. This will create new business opportunities between the two countries and develop a strong economic relationship.”

The special guests of the night consisted of Nathan Haggarty Member for Leppington, Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil Masood, Deputy Mayor Campbelltown City Council, Mohamad Rahman Manager Commonwealth Bank Ingleburn Branch and Louise Sparkes, The Do’s and Don'ts of Branding and Social Media Marketing, who all gave amazing short speeches.

Mohamad Rahman in his brief welcome speech promised to provide all kinds of banking support to the Australia Bangladesh Business Forum.

Dr. Ayaz Chowdhury, advisor of Australia Bangladesh Business Forum, welcomed the guest class, advisory class, directors and members of the organization. Amongst his speech, he mentioned that Bangladesh is the world's second exporter of clothing. Furthermore, he has earned the glory of exporting Bangladesh’s medicine to 159 countries.

Mahamud Mamun of Grypas Group, Mohammad Humayun Kabir of Paramount & Vglong Group, Ripon Paul and Sumit Dey of ANZ Bank Small Business and Ifty Waset of Weft Advisory and Jim’s Campbelltown participated in the slide presentation. After dinner were served, the businessmen in attendance exchanged business ideas with each other.
