Is Raisi’s death an accident or murder?

In 2021, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi, who rose to power as a young lawyer, died in a helicopter crash, according to a news report from the country's semi-official Meher news agency. The Red Crescent said no one was found alive as the helicopter was completely destroyed.

Earlier, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent, Pir Hossein Kolivand, said that now we are receiving videos from the rescue team.  They say the entire cabin of the helicopter was badly damaged and burnt.  They also said that there is no sign of anyone alive at the spot so far.

Earlier, rescuers finally found Raisi's helicopter after a long time, the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi crashed. However, Iran's state news agency IRINN and semi-official Mehr News reported that "no survivors" were found at the crash site of the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

There is no step that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has not taken for the beloved motherland. Due to this the arch-enemy Israel and even Westerners were the eyesores of the Middle East leader. Despite the strict restrictions of America, he never bowed down. He did not agree to compromise.

That's why US Senator Rick Scott broke out in excitement at the news of the helicopter crash. In the post, he said, "He (Raisi) is neither loved nor respected, nor will anyone even miss him." If he dies, I really hope the Iranian people will have a chance to take their country back from a murderous dictator.'

This exuberance is not only a reflection of the US senator but also of Israel-America. So many are questioning whether it was an accident or a planned murder. Because of the Gaza war, the only player who made Israel tremble in the chest was Ebrahim Raisi. Benjamin Netanyahu knows very well that there is no one else in the Middle East who can point missiles at Israel if he can finish him off.

Suspicion is pointing towards America as well. Because only because of Iran, Washington's influence in Middle East politics has decreased. America's worst enemy, China, is taking its place there. Apart from this, America did not hesitate to kill an influential leader like Qasem Soleimani.  Even with repeated warnings, the US could not deter Iran from its nuclear program.

As a result, the fear that the Biden administration may target Raisi cannot be ruled out.

Who is Raisi?

However, the administration of Iran itself is not talking about it. They are still calling the helicopter crash in the remote mountains an accident.

Local media reported that President Raisi inaugurated the Kiz Kalasi and Khodafarin dams near the border with Azerbaijan. Returning from there, he was going to the city of Tabriz in the north-west of Iran. After that, the news of the accident came in the media. At the same time, hundreds of rescuers from home and abroad joined the operation. However, due to adverse weather conditions, the rescue of the crashed helicopter had to be sped up. After 16 long hours, the location of the helicopter crash was known. All nine passengers, including the pilot, were killed in this accident.

Before hearing the news of the accident, thousands of people in Iran sat in prayer. He sat in the mosque all night and prayed and recited the Koran for the return of his beloved leader.
Meanwhile, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif have expressed grief over the death of the Iranian president.

Ebrahim Raisi. He is the eighth president of Iran. Both a politician and a judge, Raisi is one of the most influential leaders in world politics. Ebrahim Raisi is also known to be close to Iran's supreme religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Before becoming the President, he also served as the Chief Justice of the country. Because of that, the number of death sentences in the country has decreased.

There were many movements in the country during Raisi's tenure.  He had a role in the Hijab issue, the Middle East-Lebanon, and the Israel issues.

Ebrahim Raisi was born in 1960 in the holy city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran. Ebrahim Raisi, a well-known Iranian law, constitution and religious analyst, began his professional career as the Prosecutor General, that too at the age of 20. He got that responsibility as the Kaushuli of Karaj city. From 1989 to 1994, Raisi served as the Prosecutor-General of Tehran. From 2004, he served as Deputy Head of the Judicial Authority for a decade.  In 2019, he was appointed head of the judiciary by the country's supreme religious leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.
Ebrahim Raisi was elected the eighth president of Iran in the second round of elections in 2021.  Expressing himself as a staunch opponent of corruption, inefficiency and elites, Raisi is politically a supporter of Shia Islamic fundamentalism.

In 2022, the death of Iranian young woman Mahsha Amini led to protests across the country on the issue of freedom of dress.  More than 500 people died. Raisi was under the most pressure in that incident. Although later he brought the situation under control.

Tel Aviv has been blaming the role of the Raisi administration behind the attack on Israeli territory on October 7. Raisi also handled the war situation with a strategic hand, focusing on the Iran-Israel missile attack.
