Anti-state forces to be resisted at any cost: Nasim

Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim said that the anti-state evil forces, communal forces, autocratic forces and the forces trying to de-politicize will be resisted at any cost.

"The peace-loving people of the country are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina against those who want to come to power by complaining to the foreign masters and ruining democracy", said Nasim.

He was addressing a joyous rally marking the 44th homecoming day of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina organized by Awami Swechchhasebak League on Saturday (18 May).

Nasim said, "We will protect the country's democratic governance system at any cost to take the country forward with the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina".

With a long struggle of 43 years, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been making everyone including democracy-loving people and people with the spirit of Liberation War and leaders and activists from marginal area united.

After 21 years of struggle, Sheikh Hasina has secured tremendous success in terms of ensuring people's basic rights, democratic rights and right to vote.

Awami Swechchhasebak League president Gazi Mesbaul Hossain Shachchu presided over the rally, conducted by its general secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu.
