Bangladesh made the record of defending the lowest-ever total in a T20 World Cup game in their 21-run win over Nepal at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown.

Bangladesh was dismissed for 106 runs in 19 overs following their loss of the toss and subsequent batting order. For the team, Shakib Al Hasan scored a maximum of 17 runs. Nepal was bowled out for 85 runs in 19 overs as a response.
