Two clinics in Khulna were fined lakhs of taka

The mobile court imposed a fine of taka One lakh on two clinics in Fultala upazila of the district in khulna. The mobile court was conducted under the leadership of Upazila Nirbahi Magistrate Tasneem Jahan on Thursday (14 March) afternoon.

Upazila Health Officer Dr. Jasmine Ara, Resident Medical Officer Dr. Hasibur Rahman, Sanitary Inspector Md. Delwar Hossain and others were present.

It is known that New Phultala Pathology Center was fined fifty thousand taka for giving wrong information to the mobile court, refusing to do X-ray, not having the certificate of the technicians and not renewing the license of the institution during the raid in Phultala market.

Apart from this, a penalty of fifty thousand taka has been imposed and the operation theater of the clinic has been sealed due to errors in the operation department of the Karimunnecha Clinic and the lack of anesthesia certificate of the doctor. Also Dr. Soumitra Majumdar was fined five thousand and warned for not having the necessary certificate of medical officer of that clinic.
