A young man has been arrested by the police for raping a madrasa student in Pagla, Fatulla. Police arrested him from Pagla area of Fatulla police station at 12:30 pm on Thursday (April 26).
The name of the arrested youth is Raihan (20). He is the son of Ayub Ali of Pagla Bairagibari Khalpar area.
In this incident, the madrasa student's mother filed a case at Fatulla Model Police Station, accusing Rayhan, who was arrested and accused of rape.
It is noted in the case that the plaintiff's son was admitted to Noorani department as a resident student in a local madrasa in Pagla Bau Bazar area two months ago.
On the other hand, Raihan, who was arrested, was known to them as he lived on rent in the same area.
As a result, Raihan developed a good relationship with the plaintiff's son. The victim came home on April 3 when the madrasa was closed for Eid holidays.
On April 17, around 12:30 noon, the plaintiff's son, Pagla Bairagi Bari, was playing at Khalpad when Raihan, who was arrested, went there and said that his mother had asked him to go home.
Raihan then took the victim inside the abandoned house of one Delwar of Bairagi Bari and raped him. From there, the plaintiff's son came home and told everything.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Fatulla Model Police Station Noore Azam Mia said that a case has been registered in this regard. The accused has been arrested.
