Students of Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) protest at Israeli aggression in Palestine on the banner of Bangladesh Students League (BSL) PUST Branch.
For the demand of an independent Palestine country on Monday (6 May) at 11.00 am they held a student’s assembly program in front of the Independence Square of the campus.
They also, following a short rally, brought out a protest march from the main gate of the university.
During the demonstration, the protesting students held placards with messages such as ‘Free Palestine’, ‘From Dhaka to Gaza’, ‘Palestine needs to be free’, ‘Solidarity with the Palestine’, Stay with Palestine and 'Stop Genocide in Gaza.'
Besides, they chanted slogans like ‘free Palestine’, ‘Stay with Palestine’
After the rally by the conduction of Mr. Nur Ullah, the secretary general of BSL PUST Branch president Mr. Faridul Islam Babu said, ‘All of you know Israel has started the killing mission in Palestine illegally. We Protest it and condemn for the Israel genocides. We are giving a message of sympathy to the Palestine People.’
At that time Mr. Kamal Hossain the proctor of PUST, former proctor Mr. Awal Kabir Joy, Co-Proctor Mr. Masud Rana, Mr. Yeahiya Bapary Akash, Mr. Lokman Khan, officers, employees and students were present.
