Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto invited Zimbabwe to bat first after winning the toss in the second T20 International  at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Sunday (5 May).

The hosts lead the five-match series 1-0 following their eight-wicket win in the first game. They, however, refused to tinker with the squad as they were eying to make it 2-0.

Shanto praised the effort of the bowlers in the first game but still insisted on making little improvement.

"All bowlers, so far, bowled well but little improvement needed," he said after the toss.

Zimbabwe were slumped to 41-7 before recovering well to post 124 all out in the first game. Shanto believes, the bowlers should not allow the Zimbabwe
tailenders to come up with the resistance.

Zimbabwe which lost six wickets for five runs before Clive Mandane and Wellingto Masakadza stood tall in the opening game, made three changes to level the series.

Jonathan Campbell, the son of former Zimbabwe captain Alastair Campbell is making his debut while Tadiwanashe Marumani and Ainsley Ndlovu returned to the squad.

Sean Williams, Wellington Masakadza who got injured in the first game and Ryan Burl were left out.
