Bangladesh now role model of development in the world: Deputy Minister for Education

Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel said, Bangladesh has now become a role model of development in the world due to the pragmatic steps taken by the present government, led by Sheikh Hasina.

Bangladesh got its glorious position in the international arena for sustainable development, he said while addressing a meeting in the port city. No. 22 Enayet Bazar ward Awami League (AL) held an extended meeting at Railway Hospital Colony High School ground ahead of the Dec 4 grand rally, to be attended by Prime Minister at Polo Ground maidan.        

The meeting was held as part of programmes aimed at making the grand rally a success.Chaired by ward AL president Sher Mohammad, Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel attended it as the chief guest on Saturday evening.

Nowfel hoped that local people in large numbers would attend the Dec 4 grand rally to show their honour and gratitude to the Prime Minister. AZM Nasir, former city mayor and general secretary of city AL, said Bangladesh has reached a new height under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. The country’s overall developments bear its testimony, he observed.      

Mahatab Uddin Chowdhury, city AL president, Advocate Ibrahim Hossain Chowdhury Babul, vice president of city AL, Shafique Adnan, organizing secretary of city AL, Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor, former central Jubo League leader, among others, addressed at the meeting.
